MMTAFL (Methods and Materials for the Teaching and Acquisition of Foreign Languages) is an applied linguistics research group. The group’s research area is second language (L2) acquisition. This group has participated in the International Symposium on Language Processing in Bilingual Children and Adults: Psycholinguistic and educational perspectives, University of Minho, Braga, Portugal. 19 June within the ELC network. Recently, the coordinator of the group hosted a thematic colloquium on “New approaches to cross-linguistic influence” at the 25th Annual Conference of the European Second Language Association (EUROSLA 25) held at Aix-en-Provence, France, from the 26th to the 29th August 2015.
