From 2010 to 2014 she was the head of the University language centre and took active part in the launching of EMI programmes and the design and implementation of HELA (in-house test for teachers involved in English-medium instruction). She was Vice-Rector for students at the University of Vigo (Spain) from April 2014 to June 2018 and head of the Language Policy group within CRUE (Spanish Conference of Rectors).
